Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) have asked the Ministry of Communications to allow them to use six to eight weeks to reconfigure their systems to enable them to comply with the directive to halt the upfront deduction of the Communications Service Tax (CST).

She said those who deem the directive as illegal "can challenge it at the proper forum."
