Samini takes #UNTAMED Album to SummerStage 2019 in New York

Samini who just began his “UNTAMED World Tour” will be gracing this year’s SummerStage on August 1 in New York. The concert comes as his second appearance in the USA on his World Tour calendar.

This year’s festival will showcase 200 renowned artistes from around the world to local neighborhood parks, presenting distinctly New York genres — salsa, jazz, and hip-hop — alongside indie, reggae, Afrobeat, soul, contemporary dance, and much more.

Samini will climb the SummerStage on Thursday, August 1, 2019 at the Crotona Park at 19:00hrs US local time. Also performing will be Ghanaian sensational singer, Efya.

Samini played on GhanaFest 2019 stage in Chicago last Sunday, July 28th amidst thousands of Ghanaian locals in the USA; GhanaFest activities were in lieu with the “Year Of Return” celebrations.

Wakaso joins Chinese club Jiangsu Suning

Ghanaian midfielder Mubarak Wakaso is on the verge of swapping the Spanish La Liga for the Chinese Super League (CSL) after agreeing personal terms with Jiangsu Suning. Wakaso, 29, was entering into the final year of his three-year deal with Deportivo Alaves, but he will now depart midway through the season after the two clubs reached an agreement. The deal is subject to the 29-year-old passing a medical. Deportivo Alavés in a statement expressed gratitude to Wakaso "for his professionalism and dedication during this time and wished him the best of luck". THE ban on celebrities endorsing alcoholic beverages by Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) has clearly affected a lot of celebrities and one aggrieved personality is comic actor Kwame Dzokoto who says it is the reason why he is no longer in the media. Ghana, United Kingdom pledge to strengthen ties of co-operation

Ghana and the United Kingdom have resolved to deepen the bilateral relations that exist between the two countries, as well as, explore areas of interest that will inure to the mutual benefit of the two countries and their respective populations.
