US Embassy meets up with Stonebwoy and Samini to discuss how GH musicians can now acquire VISA with ease

Ghanaian musicians always complain that they’ve been refused Visa when they want to travel for outside gigs and more.

Well, the US Embassy has met up with some selected musicians here in GHANA to discuss the terms and conditions under which Ghanaian musicians can now acquire Visa for their International travels with ease or being refused VISAs.

The US Embassy took to their Twitter handle and tweeted,

” Our Consular Section Chief Jayne Howell with @stonebwoyb and @samini_dagaati after a special Visa Information session we organized for Ghanaian musicians. #USinGhana“

Wakaso joins Chinese club Jiangsu Suning

Ghanaian midfielder Mubarak Wakaso is on the verge of swapping the Spanish La Liga for the Chinese Super League (CSL) after agreeing personal terms with Jiangsu Suning. Wakaso, 29, was entering into the final year of his three-year deal with Deportivo Alaves, but he will now depart midway through the season after the two clubs reached an agreement. The deal is subject to the 29-year-old passing a medical. Deportivo Alavés in a statement expressed gratitude to Wakaso "for his professionalism and dedication during this time and wished him the best of luck". He will join compatriots Emmanuel Boateng and Frank Achiampong in the Chinese topflight.

THE ban on celebrities endorsing alcoholic beverages by Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) has clearly affected a lot of celebrities and one aggrieved personality is comic actor Kwame Dzokoto who says it is the reason why he is no longer in the media. According to Kwame Dzokoto, who has advertised alcoholic beverages in the past and was the host of popular show, Edziban on TV3, the decision is biting hard but there is no one to speak for them. “I decided to leave the media since no one is speaking for us. Ghana, United Kingdom pledge to strengthen ties of co-operation

Ghana and the United Kingdom have resolved to deepen the bilateral relations that exist between the two countries, as well as, explore areas of interest that will inure to the mutual benefit of the two countries and their respective populations. This was disclosed on Monday, January 20, 2020, when the President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, held bilateral talks with British Prime Minister, Rt. Hon.
