Akwaboah blasts fellow Ghanaian musicians - Speaks his mind to them

Ghanaian singer-songwriter and producer Gladstorm Kwabena Akwaboah Jnr., known by his stage name Akwaboah speaks his mind to his fellow musicians in the music industry. 


It seems like the Sarkcess music signee and prolific songwriter is not pleased with the attitude and reaction from his fellow musicians in the music Industry anytime he tries to put them on a song. 

He made this revelation in a facebook post earlier today. 

According to the singer, Ghanaian musicians will be flexing you when you try to put them on a song but send same song to a bigger non Ghanaian musician and you will have your verse in two days.

Ghana we are sick in the head, he added.

Akwaboah, who is a master keyboardist, has played for several local and international artistes including Hugh Masekela and John Legend, and has assisted several musicians to make it big in the industry. Akwaboah also produced and co-wrote BET Award winner Sarkodie's fourth album Mary.

Wakaso joins Chinese club Jiangsu Suning

Ghanaian midfielder Mubarak Wakaso is on the verge of swapping the Spanish La Liga for the Chinese Super League (CSL) after agreeing personal terms with Jiangsu Suning. Wakaso, 29, was entering into the final year of his three-year deal with Deportivo Alaves, but he will now depart midway through the season after the two clubs reached an agreement. The deal is subject to the 29-year-old passing a medical. Deportivo Alavés in a statement expressed gratitude to Wakaso "for his professionalism and dedication during this time and wished him the best of luck". He will join compatriots Emmanuel Boateng and Frank Achiampong in the Chinese topflight.

THE ban on celebrities endorsing alcoholic beverages by Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) has clearly affected a lot of celebrities and one aggrieved personality is comic actor Kwame Dzokoto who says it is the reason why he is no longer in the media. According to Kwame Dzokoto, who has advertised alcoholic beverages in the past and was the host of popular show, Edziban on TV3, the decision is biting hard but there is no one to speak for them. “I decided to leave the media since no one is speaking for us. Ghana, United Kingdom pledge to strengthen ties of co-operation

Ghana and the United Kingdom have resolved to deepen the bilateral relations that exist between the two countries, as well as, explore areas of interest that will inure to the mutual benefit of the two countries and their respective populations.
