Sizzla arrives in Ghana this Wednesday for JaGhafest

Sizzla Kalonji, headline act for JaGhafest is expected to town down in Ghana this Wednesday, April 10. The Internationally known Jamaican Reggae/Dancehall Singjay is super excited about the news and can’t wait to step foot back in Ghana.

Sizzla, born “Miguel Orlando Collins” first cake to Ghana for concert 9 years ago and played at the Accra Sports Stadium. The “Crank Up” Boss (Sizzla) will be joined by colleague artistes Duane Stephenson, Natel and Empire-I.

Ghana’s line up for JaGhafest include Samini, Epixode, Ras Kuuku, Shegah, Kahpun, XLNC, Black Mallam, just to name a few.

JaGhafest stages it’s maiden edition this Saturday, April 13th at the Independence Square. The show is FREE to public and officially starts 6:00pm.

Wakaso joins Chinese club Jiangsu Suning

Ghanaian midfielder Mubarak Wakaso is on the verge of swapping the Spanish La Liga for the Chinese Super League (CSL) after agreeing personal terms with Jiangsu Suning. Wakaso, 29, was entering into the final year of his three-year deal with Deportivo Alaves, but he will now depart midway through the season after the two clubs reached an agreement. The deal is subject to the 29-year-old passing a medical. Deportivo Alavés in a statement expressed gratitude to Wakaso "for his professionalism and dedication during this time and wished him the best of luck". THE ban on celebrities endorsing alcoholic beverages by Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) has clearly affected a lot of celebrities and one aggrieved personality is comic actor Kwame Dzokoto who says it is the reason why he is no longer in the media. Ghana, United Kingdom pledge to strengthen ties of co-operation

Ghana and the United Kingdom have resolved to deepen the bilateral relations that exist between the two countries, as well as, explore areas of interest that will inure to the mutual benefit of the two countries and their respective populations. This was disclosed on Monday, January 20, 2020, when the President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, held bilateral talks with British Prime Minister, Rt. Hon.
