JaGhafest revitalized, with Sizzla headline Act for April 13th

Sizzla Kalonji, globally celebrated Jamaican Reggae icon is the new headline act for JaGhafest 2019.

Edge Of The World Production (EOTWP), organizers of the event have repackaged the maiden edition of the Jamaica GHANA Festival with a more compact line up.

Sizzla in a viral video few days ago admitted he was coming for JaGhafest on April 13th and music fans are in high anticipation for this event at the Independence Square.

Duane Stephenson, Natel and Empire from Jamaica are part of the Caribbean line up while Ghana’s MOBO-winning superstar Samini is the lead face for the Ghana line up which also has Ras Kuuku, Epixode, Rudebwoy Ranking, Sean Taylor, XLNC, Shegah, Kahpun, Black Mallam, others.

The show which is tipped to be free to public will be a platform to showcase the rich music culture of both countries and accentuate their strong bonding and heritage as a connect between Africa and the Caribbean.

Wakaso joins Chinese club Jiangsu Suning

Ghanaian midfielder Mubarak Wakaso is on the verge of swapping the Spanish La Liga for the Chinese Super League (CSL) after agreeing personal terms with Jiangsu Suning. Wakaso, 29, was entering into the final year of his three-year deal with Deportivo Alaves, but he will now depart midway through the season after the two clubs reached an agreement. The deal is subject to the 29-year-old passing a medical. Deportivo Alavés in a statement expressed gratitude to Wakaso "for his professionalism and dedication during this time and wished him the best of luck". THE ban on celebrities endorsing alcoholic beverages by Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) has clearly affected a lot of celebrities and one aggrieved personality is comic actor Kwame Dzokoto who says it is the reason why he is no longer in the media. Ghana, United Kingdom pledge to strengthen ties of co-operation

Ghana and the United Kingdom have resolved to deepen the bilateral relations that exist between the two countries, as well as, explore areas of interest that will inure to the mutual benefit of the two countries and their respective populations.
