UEFA Champs League Quarters Draw: Man Utd To Play Barca

The quarter-final match-ups for the UEFA Champions League quarter finals are locked in!

In a mouthwatering result for football fans, Manchester United will take on Barcelona in a clash of football heavyweights, while Liverpool fans got a dream draw with their Reds to take on Porto.

There’s also a massive clash of Premier League giants with Manchester City and Spurs to face off in the last eight.

Although they were drawn to play the second leg at home, Manchester United will actually instead be at Old Trafford for the first leg against Barcelona.

This is because City are playing their second leg against Spurs at home, and UEFA rules say you can't have two sides from the same city playing home matches in the same week.

Leaving Ajax to take on Cristiano Ronaldo’s Juventus in the other tie.

Wakaso joins Chinese club Jiangsu Suning

Ghanaian midfielder Mubarak Wakaso is on the verge of swapping the Spanish La Liga for the Chinese Super League (CSL) after agreeing personal terms with Jiangsu Suning. Wakaso, 29, was entering into the final year of his three-year deal with Deportivo Alaves, but he will now depart midway through the season after the two clubs reached an agreement. The deal is subject to the 29-year-old passing a medical. Deportivo Alavés in a statement expressed gratitude to Wakaso "for his professionalism and dedication during this time and wished him the best of luck". He will join compatriots Emmanuel Boateng and Frank Achiampong in the Chinese topflight.

THE ban on celebrities endorsing alcoholic beverages by Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) has clearly affected a lot of celebrities and one aggrieved personality is comic actor Kwame Dzokoto who says it is the reason why he is no longer in the media. Ghana and the United Kingdom have resolved to deepen the bilateral relations that exist between the two countries, as well as, explore areas of interest that will inure to the mutual benefit of the two countries and their respective populations.
