Samini Finally Announces The Title Of His Upcoming Reggae Album 'Untamed'

Veteran Ghanaian Reggae/Dancehall act, Emmanuel Andrews Samini, known professionally as Samini, has officially announced the title of his most awaited reggae album, after he kept his fans and all music lovers waiting. 

Samini who recently deleted all his posts on both his Instagram and twitter page, earlier this morning took to his social media platforms to announce the title of his upcoming 7th studio album. 

In his post, he wrote, "been through the mud, through the sun and the rain... One thing me know, no pain, no gain". Watchout for my 7th album titled #Untamed, the star maker added. 

It is rumoured that, the African dancehall king, as he terms his brand, is currently in Seattle finalizing his upcoming reggae album.

His 7th studio album titled "Untamed" is targeted for the Grammy, which is very possible, looking at the works the living legend has placed in the upcoming album, and it is said to be launched at this year's SaminiFest.

"My Own", which is a single from his upcoming album, has already won two awards at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards and Ghana Music Awards UK, respectively.

Samini stands as the most decorated Ghanaian musician who has won several awards, notable among them are MOBO, MAMA'S, IRAWMA, CHANNEL O, GHANA MUSIC AWARDS, EME nominee, among others — he was the first ever Ghanaian Reggae and Dancehall act to have won such awards years ago, and still very relevant in the music industry with many successes.

THE ban on celebrities endorsing alcoholic beverages by Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) has clearly affected a lot of celebrities and one aggrieved personality is comic actor Kwame Dzokoto who says it is the reason why he is no longer in the media. Wakaso joins Chinese club Jiangsu Suning

Ghanaian midfielder Mubarak Wakaso is on the verge of swapping the Spanish La Liga for the Chinese Super League (CSL) after agreeing personal terms with Jiangsu Suning. Wakaso, 29, was entering into the final year of his three-year deal with Deportivo Alaves, but he will now depart midway through the season after the two clubs reached an agreement. The deal is subject to the 29-year-old passing a medical. Ghana, United Kingdom pledge to strengthen ties of co-operation
